Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit this website or contact us through it, why we collect it, and the rights you have under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable privacy laws.

Who is responsible for your data

The controller of your personal data is [UZUPEŁNIJ: full legal name of the company], [UZUPEŁNIJ: registered address], [UZUPEŁNIJ: company registration / tax number] (“Sterling”, “we”, “us”). For any privacy question or request, email [UZUPEŁNIJ: privacy contact email].

What we collect

  • Work with us form. Your name, your email address and, if you add one, your message. We only receive what you type in the form.
  • Technical data. When you load a page, our hosting provider processes your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. It needs this to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
  • Anonymous usage statistics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are visited, from which country and on which kind of device. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device; visits are told apart by a short-lived hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours, so you cannot be identified or followed across websites.

We do not use advertising or tracking tools, social media pixels or third-party embeds, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Why we use it and on what legal basis

  • To reply to your enquiry and discuss working together: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • To run and secure the website: our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and protected from spam and attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it, from anonymous, aggregated statistics: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell or rent personal data.

Who receives your data

We share personal data only with service providers that process it on our behalf and under our instructions:

  • Vercel Inc. (USA): website hosting and delivery, and the anonymous usage statistics.
  • Resend (USA): delivers form submissions to our team by email.
  • Our email provider, [UZUPEŁNIJ: email provider, e.g. Google Workspace], where we receive and answer your message.

Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area. Where data is transferred there, it is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, as applicable.

How long we keep it

  • Form enquiries: for as long as we need to handle your request and any follow-up, and no longer than [UZUPEŁNIJ: retention period, e.g. 24 months] after our last contact, unless we start working together.
  • Technical logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short period for security and troubleshooting, then deleted automatically.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies and does not store anything on your device for tracking. Fonts and images are served from our own domain. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data deleted;
  • restrict or object to how we process it;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

To use any of these rights, email [UZUPEŁNIJ: privacy contact email]. We will reply within one month.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website or our services change. The date at the top shows the latest version. See also our Terms of Service.
